Grading

Your grade will be based on a weighted sum of the following:

ComponentWeight
Homeworks16%
Labs40%
Midterm20%
Final20%
Quizzes4%

Late assignments

If you hand in an assignment late, we will take off 10% for each day (or portion thereof) it is late. No points will be granted for assignments submitted more than five days late.

Cheating

Collaboration is encouraged, but cheating is a serious offense. If we believe cheating has occurred on exams or assignments, we will collect the data and forward them to the undergraduate Dean of your school.

Meet with colleagues, form study groups, discuss assignments with them, compare alternative approaches, but do not share code or homework solutions.
